In a time of uncertainty, unrest, and fluctuation, how thankful I am for the Rock on which we stand … that God never changes … that we can know absolutes, what is right and what is wrong … that His favor and blessing is available, if we will but choose it.
As I reflect on the year ending, the goodness of God has become a predominant theme for us. His goodness in helping us to pray as we ought. His enabling power in helping us to share His Word with others and get projects done. His strength when we are weary. His wisdom, counsel, and direction when we seek Him. Healing, when we need a touch in our bodies.
With confidence we can rejoice in the goodness of God and His unfailing love and mercy as we end 2022 and enter into 2023. What reassurance it brings, that God is good!
God loves those who love Him. Those who seek Him, find Him! He is all-knowing and all-powerful. Nothing takes Him by surprise. He has a plan and a purpose.
“He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son” Romans 8:27-29.
This is our prayer for you as we begin 2023, that you will be rooted in the nature and character of God and in His goodness, love, and mercy.
May you receive His strength, enabling grace, and power for the coming year.
May you receive wisdom, counsel, and direction as you seek Him.
May you receive healing in areas of need.
May you have a sense of living in the Lord’s presence in fellowship with Him and recognize His working within your heart.
May you increasingly prosper, both spiritually and in your life circumstances, beyond all that you have experienced in the past, and also, may you be blessed in life, in health, and in all that is before you.
