INTRODUCTION

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”  I Corinthians 15:44

Just as our physical body must often receive nourishment, so also, our spirit must be nourished.  The Bible, “The Word of God,” supplies this spiritual nourishment.

It is a guide to lead us into a full salvation experience, and give us the principles of how to live and function in our “new-creation life.”

Then through “impartation,” the anointed Word supplies us with the essential spiritual food that will sustain us and provide spiritual growth.

With this understanding, each article on this web site is prayerfully intended to fulfill this two-fold purpose.

As you devotionally read each article in an “attitude of worshipful receptivity,” the needed spiritual food will be imparted into your spirit.

These articles are posted in different sections:

Article of the Month,” relates to a message that has a present challenge and purpose.

Daily Devotional,” contains a morning and evening message for each day of the month, and is intended for our general edification.

A Present Word,” relates to the end-time.

Food for Thought,” is written by various authors to enable us to go deeper.

Hidden Manna,” is deeper “spiritual life” messages that go beyond the surface meanings.

Articles by Wade Taylor,” and, “Articles by Others,” are carefully chosen to impart “Spirit and Life.”

Books to Read,” presents books that can be read on-line or downloaded without cost.

Messages to Hear and See,” are selected video messages that can be seen and heard.

Messages to Hear,” are selected audio messages that can be heard.

Nancy’s Corner,” is written by my daughter, who now continues Parousia Ministries.

To Contact,” gives information about how to contact us for any reason or purpose.

Books and Messages to Order,” presents an opportunity to purchase books and spoken messages from another website.

All articles are updated, and new ones are added as our Lord indicates.

We have no “pet doctrines,” nor a “hidden agenda” to perpetuate.  Rather, we have a pure desire to make the Lord Jesus Christ known, and to lead as many as  possible into an active personal relationship with Him, and also, to make known His end-time purposes.

Purpose and Direction

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.”  Revelation 3:20 NAS

At this present time, those who have fully submitted their lives to the Lord are being “made ready” to have a part with Jesus in the closing-out of the time of the Gentiles (both in visitation and tribulation), and in the setting-up and establishing of the Millennial Kingdom.

“Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness.”  Luke 3:2

John the Baptist was “called apart” into a “wilderness” time of preparation for the appointed time, when he would introduce Jesus as the “Lamb of God.”

When John was asked who he was, his words revealed the deep inner work of preparation that had taken place in his life.

“He said, I am the voice of One crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.”  John 1:23

In effect, John said – “I am so emptied of self, that I have become the expression of not only the voice, but also the emotions of another, in every aspect of my being.”

So also today, there are those (you and I) who are being “moved upon” by the Holy Spirit in order to be “made ready,” so that we also might respond as John did in his day.

Our constant prayer should be that we might become so available to the Lord that He can, at anytime, speak through us a “present word” – a word that will turn both lives and the nations to the Lord.

This requires:

  1. “knowing” the voice of the Lord.
  1. “recognizing and responding” to His presence.
  1. willingness” to become the expression of His life in the earth.

It is best to pray this short prayer before reading these articles.

“Lord Jesus, I unconditionally submit the totality of my being to You.  I ask that I might be enabled to learn your ways, and be both edified and encouraged as I read these messages, and also, come to better know and serve You.”

Much time and effort goes into this website.  Your interest, help, and prayers are greatly appreciated.
